Before his tenure with the Division of Gaming, Hartman made history as Colorado’s inaugural Director of the Medical Marijuana Enforcement Division, where he played a pivotal role in shaping the state’s regulatory approach to the newly legalized industry. His visionary leadership not only brought marijuana regulation from illegality to legality but also set a precedent for other states grappling with similar challenges.
“We are delighted to welcome Dan Hartman to our advisory board,” said Daniel Umfleet, CEO of Kindbridge Behavioral Health. “His extensive experience in regulatory enforcement and public service, coupled with a track record of fostering industry growth and innovation, make him an invaluable addition to our team. His accolades, including being named International Masters of Gaming Law Regulator of the Year in 2022 and earning the Len Foote Award for achievement and leadership from the Association of Racing Commissioners International (RCI) in 2007, reflect his dedication to advancing regulatory standards and industry best practices.
“I am honored to join Kindbridge’s advisory board and contribute to its groundbreaking work in mental healthcare,” said Dan Hartman. “Mental wellness is a critical component of overall health, and I am excited to collaborate with Kindbridge to drive meaningful change in how we approach and deliver mental healthcare services.”
