Session 1: Understanding Adult ADHD: Symptoms and Diagnosis –
Key Focus: This session will provide a careful overview of ADHD's prevalence, symptoms, diagnosis, and assessment process.
We will also engage in interactive activities that help dispel myths and build knowledge about the condition.
Session 2: Managing Challenges and Addressing Problem Behaviors –
Key Focus: This is a deep dive into managing common ADHD symptoms like inattention, impulsivity, and time management struggles, as well as potential addictive behaviors like gambling.
We’ll discuss evidence-based treatments and provide tips to minimize daily challenges. A group exercise allows for sharing solutions.
Session 3: Thriving with routines, relationships, and more –
Key Focus: This important skills building session aims to leverage personal strengths, developing helpful structures and routines, seeking support, and nurturing relationships.
Participants will create vision boards to visualize their goals for optimal living with ADHD.
