Family Conflict Questionnaire
Family conflict is the active opposition or tension between family members caused by clashing views, beliefs, or unmet needs. It occurs within close relationships, such as between parents, children, or siblings, due to life changes, financial stress, or power dynamics. Familial disharmony and domestic discord has been on the rise over recent years due to conflicting and seemingly irreconcilable sociopolitical perspectives. While occasional conflict is normal, persistent, unresolved conflict causes emotional distress and may damage relationships to the point of estrangement. Overcoming disagreements and hostility can be even more challenging one or more family members involved struggles with an underlying mental or behavioral health issue.
