Emotional Well Being Test
~
(Affective Wellbeing Assessment)

Often referred to by the public as emotional well-being, affective well-being (AWB) refers to the balance, frequency, and intensity of an individual's emotional experiences, specifically the moods and feelings they encounter. An emotional well-being test measures one’s emotional reactions, moods, and feelings over a specific period. Unlike cognitive measures that assess how someone thinks about their life (e.g., overall satisfaction), an AWB quiz places focus on how they feel. In summation, an affective wellbeing test measures the frequency and intensity with which individuals experience positive emotions and moods relative to negative ones, in present day. A low affective wellbeing score generally indicates that an individual is experiencing a high frequency of negative emotions such as sadness, anger, anxiety, or fatigue, and a low relative frequency of positive emotions, such as happiness, enthusiasm, or calmness. Vice versa.

As someone who may struggle to attain a “net positive” in the balance of emotions, you are seeking introspection that will lead to a more favorable outcome. The following self-administered emotional well-being test is a great place to start. Upon completion you will be emailed an explanation of the results and receive access to a FREE and more comprehensive evaluation from a professional. This professional specializes in helping people navigate emotional, psychological, and behavioral challenges by providing a safe, non-judgmental space to explore their emotions and develop effective coping strategies. Thereafter (and at your own pace), you can decide if you want to participate in ongoing counseling (insurance accepted).
